Over the past 200,000 years humans have upset the balance of planet Earth – a balance established by nearly four billion years of evolution. Humanity has very little time left to reverse this trend and change its patterns of consumption.

Through visually stunning aerial-only footage from over fifty countries Yann Arthus–Bertrand shows a view most of humanity has never seen. He shares his sense of awe about the planet and his concern for its health. With this film Bertrand hopes to provide a stepping-stone to further the call to action to take care of life on this planet.
