Someone I know sent me this link today (thanks "Ten"!) and as I review all interesting material that is sent to me I also watched this clip earlier this evening.
Frequent visitors of the site know that I'm not religious but that's not the point. This speaker is very eloquent and the core message is (almost) identical to what George Carlin said in 1991.

We live in a world that is increasingly being designed for and run by algorithms. Algorithms are highly complex computer programs that can solve problems and even determine espionage tactics, stock prices or what script will be a successful movie. An obvious but key distinction needs to be made here between automation and AI. Automation is just a machine performing a rote, repetitive task – like the work robots currently do on auto assembly lines. With AI, machines actually observe and learn new capabilities – on their own.
That’s the essence of machine learning. Computer programmers don’t have to write every line of code for an algorithm to execute a function; they just have to design the algorithm to learn from the “experience” of a data set. It’s not like Google’s developers wrote every line of code for self-driving cars; rather, the algorithms observed real-life drivers and now draw from that database to make the right decision.
In the two presentations below Kevin Slavin and Christopher Steiner warn, that computer programmers (still human beings) are now writing code that they can't understand. Humanity is losing more and more control of life on planet Earth, as it increasingly depends on complex algorithms to manage decisions.
Few things infuriate me more than people who jump on and swallow whole every bone that the Mainstream Media (MSM) throws at them. Let me take the recent MSM-created mass hysteria around the intelligence operation called "The Panama Papers" as an example.
Any person capable of critical thinking would have to wonder WHY the information was only released to a very specific group of "investigative journalists" instead of to the public at large. Why not make it a global online effort to go over the supposedly more than 11.5 million (!) documents with a fine-tooth comb?
I'll tell you why; there is, as always, a multi-layered agenda that involves controlled dissemination of information and misdirection. The "top 1-10%" create offshore shell companies to hide their wealth and evade taxes…. Seriously MSM, tell the public something they don't know for a change.
One of the things I keep hammering on is that people really need to ask themselves, what they are NOT being told about what they are being told. (yes, you might want to read that sentence again)
Misdirection is one of the oldest tricks in the book and while the willfully ignorant masses are feasting on "the papers", one of the MANY other important things the MSM is NOT reporting on with the same fervor, is the controversy around the documentary film VAXXED, that was pulled from the Tribeca film festival in New York.
VAXXED recounts the story of a senior scientist turned whistleblower at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who confessed that the CDC omitted crucial data in their final report on the 2004 study that was done about the causal relationship between the MMR (Measles-Mumps-Rubella) vaccine and autism.
If you're asking why you should care, I can only tell you that you should care not only, and especially if you have children, but also if you care about being a human being with a healthy mind in a healthy body.
People who are already well informed and well versed in Hidden History know that there were many forces behind, and reasons for, the creation of Adolf Hitler. So although the title of this documentary is "How Europe Created Adolf Hitler" it doesn't quite cover the entire Hitler backstory.
I'm posting the documentary because it consists entirely of archival footage that shows extremely well how demagogues and dictators, in this case Hitler, attract their followers by creating and playing into people's fears, and presenting themselves as "the solution" to every conceivable socio-political and economic problem.
In my opinion it is highly valuable to compare the images and rhetoric that are shown to those of modern day political campaigns and political rallies around the world.
