Quantum Theory And The Science Of Creating Your Own Reality

Created on Tuesday, 19 May 2015 15:16

I like quantum theory because it's part of the science behind the well known phrase 'You create your own reality'. Most of what the math that has been done in this area has proven, however, are concepts that many of the world's oldest philosophical traditions (Eastern philosophies most of all), have known for literally thousands of years. That being said, it's still interesting to see how today's scientist work things out. I've been following the work of Nassim Haramein for a number of years now and in my opinion, his holistic approach to the unification of quantum theory and the theory of relativity is quite brilliant.

Since I'm well aware that many people don't take time to read books, I thought it would be fun to create a playlist about this subject. As I first had to select the videos and screen the content  [..and since I also have a lot of other things to do], it took me well over a month to put the playlist together, but it was worth the time and effort.

The playlist starts with the do-re-mi of physics (i.e. what is an atom?, what is a molecule?) and ends with one of Nassim Haramein's presentations (6 hours well spent) about the above mentioned subjects. However, if you only have time to watch one video in the playlist, I can highly recommend Bruce Lipton's "The Biology Of Belief".

If you do like to read and science doesn't bore you to tears, as most people often complain,  I can recommend the following literature:

– The Tao Of Physics by Fritjof Capra
– Mysticism And The New Physics by Michael Talbot
– The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot
– 'Seth Speaks' and 'The Nature Of Personal Reality' by Jane Roberts (..both containing a good amount of quantum theory)

The subject matter of the videos below increases in complexity as the playlist goes along, so if you make it all the way to the end, Bravo! 🙂

Big Bucks, Big Pharma: Marketing Disease & Pushing Drugs

Created on Wednesday, 28 July 2010 20:38

Big Bucks, Big Pharma – Marketing Disease & Pushing Drugs (2004) pulls back the curtain on the multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical industry, to expose the insidious ways that illness is used, manipulated, and in some instances, created, for capital gain.

Focusing on the industry's marketing practices, media scholars and health professionals help viewers understand the ways in which Direct-To-Consumer pharmaceutical advertising and promotion to doctors, glamorize and normalize the use of prescription medication. Combined, these industry practices shape how both patients and doctors understand and relate to disease and treatment.

Ultimately, Big Bucks, Big Pharma challenges the viewers to ask important questions about the consequences of relying on a for-huge-profit industry for their health and well-being. The viewer needs to be aware of the fact that for the pharmaceutical industry disease is ultimately a good thing…  It's their only source of income and reason for existing.

Civil Disobedience Is Not The Problem. The Problem Is Civil Obedience

In this clip from 1971 the late and great Howard Zinn defends the importance of civil disobedience against social injustices. What's astounding is that the comments he made then, still apply to the world today.

In the video below actor Matt Damon reads an excerpt from a speech that Howard Zinn gave in 1970 as part of a debate on civil disobedience.

'We Become Silent’ is narrated by Dame Judi Dench.
