Fractals: The Colors Of Infinity

In 1980 Dr. Benoît Mandelbrot discovered the infinitely complex geometrical shape called ‘The Mandelbrot Set or M-Set’, using a very simple equation with computers and graphics. This documentary relates the science of the M-Set to nature in a way, that seems to identify ‘the hand of God’ in the design of the universe.

About THRIVE I (edited synopsis)

THRIVE I: What On Earth Will It Take is an unconventional documentary that lifts the veil on what's REALLY going on in our world, by following the money upstream and uncovering the global consolidation of power in nearly every aspect of our lives. By weaving together breakthroughs in science, consciousness and activism, Thrive offers real solutions and empowers people with unprecedented and bold strategies for reclaiming their lives and their future.

Although I’ve placed this documentary in the Science & Technology section, Thrive covers many –if not all- of the topics that can also be found in other sections on my website.

Energy Fields Revealed

Created on Tuesday, 24 April 2012 11:16

This presentation by Dr. Harry Oldfied, which was filmed at the Glastonbury Symposium, shows that the human energy field is real as is the energy field around all living things.

With considerable joie de vivre and a playful sense of humor Dr. Oldfield unveils some of his inventions and also talks about Electro-Crystal Therapy and the incredible properties of crystals. He goes on to detail how this technology could revolutionize both conventional and alternative healing, and how he has used this technology in his own practice.

There is some truly amazing photographic and video evidence demonstrating some of the technologies. Three decades of research into this area and considerable practical application enable Dr. Oldfield to present some very convincing evidence, that there is far more to the Universe than what we currently experience with the five senses.

The Science Of Sex Appeal

Created on Tuesday, 24 April 2012 10:48

‘The Science of Sex Appeal’ isolates every detail of human sex appeal and explores it in terms of evolution and function. It shows what is genetic, what is hormonal and what neurological. What is based on sight, what on smell and what on small subtle cues like voice and movement. It essentially takes one of our deepest subconscious processes and lays it out in detail.

You'll never look at a stranger or your loved one or yourself in quite the same way again. 🙂 (Amazon editorial review)

Although this documentary is certainly quite interesting and informative it does not cover the psychological and/or metaphysical sides of sex appeal in dept. If you’d like to know more about those aspects I can recommend the following literature:

– ‘The Casanova Complex’ by Peter Trachtenberg
– ‘Women Who Love Too much’ by Robin Norwood
– ‘Journey Of Souls’ by Michael Newton
– ‘Twin Souls’ by Maurie Pressman and Patricia Joudry
